One person was injured in a two-vehicle collision on 580 Freeway near Eden Canyon Road in Hayward
Hayward, Calif. – One person was injured in a Saturday afternoon car crash in Hayward, according to the California Highway Patrol.
At around 2:27 p.m., the CHP received reports of a collision on the eastbound 580 Freeway near Eden Canyon Road.
The officers who responded to the incident recovered a Chevrolet Impala and a Ford Mustang at the accident scene.
The events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
CHP says at least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
