1 Injured in Collision on 5 Freeway near El Toro Road in Lake Forest
Orange County, California (July 8, 2022) – At least one person was injured in a Friday morning collision in Lake Forest.
The crash was reported at around 11:32 a.m. on Interstate 5 Freeway near El Toro Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Five vehicles were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the collision were not immediately established.
CHP says one person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
All lanes of the freeway were temporarily blocked as officers examined the scene.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
