Authorities say at least one person suffered serious injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment

Los Angeles, Calif. – One person was hospitalized with serious injuries following a two-vehicle collision on Friday night in Lancaster.
The 9:47 p.m. collision occurred on Highway 138 near Old Ridge Route Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The officers who responded to the incident recovered two cars at the scene of the accident. The circumstances surrounding the collision were not immediately established.
CHP says at least one person suffered serious injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
