1 person was hospitalized after being injured in a two-vehicle collision on La Brea Avenue near 21st Street in Los Angeles

Los Angeles, Calif. – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a collision that toppled a street light in Mid City on Saturday evening.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the accident happened on La Brea Avenue between 21st Street and the Santa Monica (I-10) Freeway at around 7:19 p.m.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision. One of the cars knocked down a street light and sheared a fire hydrant.

One person was hospitalized with minor-to-moderate injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
