1 Suffers Minor Injuries in Carpinteria Accident on Highway 101 near Santa Monica Road

Carpinteria, California (August 11, 2022) – Authorities are investigating a motorcycle accident that left at least one person with minor injuries on Wednesday morning in Carpinteria in Santa Barbara County.
According to a California Highway Patrol report, the accident happened at around 8:00 a.m. on August 10, on Highway 101 near Santa Monica Road.
Per the report, a motorcycle and two vehicles crashed for reasons yet to be determined. Officials said that one of the vehicles was reportedly splitting lanes at high speed before the accident.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene to attend to at least one person who complained of pain due to the accident. The name of the victim and their current condition were not immediately provided.
The vehicles were towed away from the crash site. All lanes were clear as of 9:08 a.m.
No additional information regarding this incident was provided.
