Police confirmed three vehicles including a red Toyota Highlander and a Honda Element collided for unknown reasons.

Fremont, CA. – One person sustained minor injuries following a multi-vehicle accident Monday morning on Interstate 880 in Fremont.
According to a police report, the collision occurred at around 8:16 a.m. on the southbound 880 Freeway, just north of Alvarado Boulevard.
Police confirmed three vehicles including a red Toyota Highlander and a Honda Element collided for unknown reasons.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene to aid at least one person who complained of pain due to the collision.
A SigAlert was issued closing three left lanes of the highway due to the crash. The SigAlert was canceled and all lanes re-opened as of 9:38 a.m.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
