1 Hurt After Vallejo Car Accident on 80 Freeway and American Canyon Road
Vallejo, California (August 20, 2022) – One person sustained minor injuries following a multi-vehicle collision on Friday night in Vallejo, Solano County, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The accident happened at around 8:40 p.m. on August 19, on the westbound 80 Freeway on American Canyon Road offramp.
Per the report, three vehicles collided for reasons yet to be determined. One of the vehicles, a silver Nissan Altima, sustained significant rear damage following the crash.
Fire officials and medics arrived at the accident scene and aided at least one person injured in the collision. The total number of patients and their current condition were not immediately provided.
Authorities were blocking the offramp and Lane 4 due to the accident.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
