Three vehicles collided in the northbound lanes of the freeway just south of Devonshire Street
Los Angeles, Calif. – A multi-vehicle collision in Los Angeles' North Hills area sent one to the hospital with minor injuries, the California Highway Patrol said.
The pileup happened around 5:50 p.m. on New Year's Eve on northbound interstate 405 just south of Devonshire Street.
Three vehicles, including a white BMW X5, were involved in the accident.
Firefighters responded to the scene and transported one person to Providence Holy Cross Medical Center with minor injuries.
The BMW was towed away with major front end and rear damage.
CHP officers are investigating the cause of the collision.
