A pedestrian was seriously injured after being hit by a car on Highway 101 near Highway 46 in Paso Robles

Paso Robles, Calif. – One person was seriously injured in a pedestrian accident that happened in Templeton on Monday evening.
The auto-pedestrian accident happened on northbound Highway 101 near Highway 46 at around 6:41 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Nissan Altima is reported to have struck a pedestrian in unclear circumstances.
The unidentified pedestrian suffered major injuries in the accident and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
