1 Injured in Collision on 80 Freeway near Pinole Valley Road in Pinole
Contra Costa, California (June 7, 2022) – At least one person was injured in a collision on Monday evening in Pinole.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Interstate 80 Freeway near Pinole Valley Road at around 5:51 p.m.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the collision, however, were not immediately established.
Officials say the driver of one of the vehicles was injured in the crash and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
