1 Seriously Injured in Car Crash on 5 Freeway near Riverside Avenue in Redding
Redding, California (July 23, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a car crash that happened on Saturday morning in Redding.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on the southbound 5 Freeway near Riverside Avenue at around 2:10 a.m.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision. Although the events leading up to the accident were yet to be established, one of the cars reportedly veered off the roadway and struck a power pole.
Officials say one person was seriously in the crash and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
