San Mateo, CA. – Authorities are investigating a traffic collision that left at least one person seriously injured near Redwood City in San Mateo early Thursday morning.
At around 4:28 a.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a traffic collision on Highway 1 near Highway 84.
A box truck and an SUV were involved in the accident. The collision sent one of the cars off the roadway, trapping one person.
One person was seriously injured in the accident and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
