Contra Costa, CA. – Authorities are investigating a car accident that happened near Richmond in Contra Costa on Thursday afternoon.
At around 1:53 p.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a car accident in the area of San Pablo Dam Road and May Road.
Two vehicles were located at the accident scene, but the events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
CHP reports that at least one person was injured in the accident and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
