Sacramento, CA. – Authorities are investigating a car crash that left at least one person injured on Thursday afternoon in Sacramento.
At around 2:59 p.m., the California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a car accident on Highway 99 near 12th Avenue.
A semi-truck and at least two other cars were involved in the accident. The impact of the collision caused one of the cars to overturn onto its side.
One person was injured in the car accident and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
