One person was hospitalized after two cars collided on Highway 38 near Rainbow Lane in Angelus Oaks

San Bernardino, Calif. – Authorities are investigating a major injury car accident that occurred near Angelus Oaks in San Bernardino on Wednesday afternoon.
The accident was reported around 3:12 p.m. on Highway 38 near Rainbow Lane, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A man is reported to have parked his vehicle and exited when a silver sedan struck the parked car and the man.
The impact of the crash caused one of the cars to roll over onto its roof.
CHP reports that one person suffered major injuries in the accident and was taken to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
