San Diego, Calif. – One person was hospitalized after a police pursuit ended in a car crash at an intersection in San Diego's Allied Gardens neighborhood on Tuesday morning.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the accident happened around 3:30 a.m. at Waring Road and Zion Avenue.
The deputies were pursuing a driver who had run a red light when the SUV drove on the wrong side and collided with another car at the intersection.
Authorities say at least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
