One person was taken to the hospital after being injured in a car accident on the 280 Freeway near Highway 1 in San Francisco

San Francisco, Calif. – Authorities are investigating a traffic collision that left at least one person on Sunday evening in San Francisco.
The 7:54 p.m. accident occurred on the southbound 280 Freeway near Highway 1, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Two vehicles, possibly an SUV and a sedan, were involved in the accident. The events preceding the collision were not immediately established.
CHP says at least one person was injured in the morning crash and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
