1 Injured in Car Accident on Highway 101 near 280 Freeway
San Jose, California (July 8, 2022) – A driver was injured in a car accident on Thursday morning in San Jose, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident was reported at around 11:14 a.m. on Highway 101 near 280 Freeway.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision. Although the events leading up to the accident were yet to be established, the impact of the collision sent one of the cars off the roadway where it crashed into a tree.
At least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
