One person was hospitalized after multiple vehicles collided on 680 Freeway near Alcosta Boulevard in San Ramon
San Ramon, Calif. – At least one person was injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Wednesday morning in San Ramon.
At around 8:16 a.m., the California Highway Patrol received reports of a multi-vehicle collision on the southbound 680 Freeway near Alcosta Boulevard.
Five cars were recovered at the accident scene, but the events leading up to the accident were not immediately established.
CHP reports that one person suffered major injuries in the accident and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Additional information about the accident was not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
