1 Injured in Car Crash on Highway 101 near Clark Avenue in Santa Maria
Santa Maria, California (August 4, 2022) – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a car crash that occurred on Tuesday night in Santa Maria.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Highway 101 near Clark Avenue at around 6:58 p.m.
Two vehicles were involved in the accident. Although the events leading up to the crash were yet to be established, the impact of the collision sent one of the cars off the roadway and down an embankment.
CHP says at least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
