4 Injured in Collision on Black Road near Mahoney Road in Santa Maria
Santa Maria, California (July 8, 2022) – Four people were injured in a traffic collision involving a fuel tanker on Friday morning in Santa Maria.
The crash was reported at around 5:58 a.m. near the intersection of Black Road and Mahoney Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A Dodge Neon and a loaded fuel tanker were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident, however, were not immediately established.
First responders, including the California Highway Patrol, Santa Maria Fire Department and two American Medical Response units, arrived at the scene and transported four people to the hospital for treatment.
Additional information about the accident was not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
