The bicyclist was injured in the accident and was taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center
Spokane, WA. – A bicyclist was injured after being struck by a car in Spokane Valley on Wednesday morning.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened around 4:30 p.m. on State Route 27 at East Indiana Avenue.
A bicyclist was traveling northbound on SR 27 when he failed to yield the right of way and was struck by a car traveling westbound on Indiana Avenue.
The bicyclist was injured in the accident and was taken to Sacred Heart Medical Center.
The driver was charged with DUI.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
