Rider Injured in Motorcycle Accident at Highway 79 and Highway 371 in Temecula

Temecula, California (August 10, 2022) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a traffic collision that happened on Tuesday afternoon in Temecula.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at Highway 79 and Highway 371 at around 2:30 p.m.
A 33-year-old Temecula man was riding a Yamaha sport bike northbound on Highway 79 when he crashed into a Jeep Cherokee driven by a 65-year-old Aguanga woman.
Officials say the Jeep was making a turn onto Highway 371 when the accident happened.
The rider suffered major injuries in the accident and was airlifted to Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar for treatment.
More details about the accident were not provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
