1 Seriously Injured in Collision on 80 Freeway near Carquinez Toll Plaza Road in Vallejo
Vallejo, California (July 16, 2022) – One person was seriously injured in a traffic collision on Saturday morning in Vallejo.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Interstate 80 Freeway near Carquinez Toll Plaza Road at around 1:51 a.m.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the accident, however, were not immediately established.
One person was seriously injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
