Rider seriously injured after colliding with a car at Woodland Avenue and County Road 98 in Woodland

Woodland, Calif. – A motorcyclist was critically injured in a collision that happened on Wednesday afternoon in Woodland.
The accident was reported around 2:10 p.m. on W. Woodland Avenue and County Road 98, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A vehicle was traveling on the roadway when it crashed into a motorcycle.
The rider suffered major injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The driver of the car fled the scene and was yet to be located.
