1 Injured in Car Accident on Avenue 53 near Calhoun Street in Indio
Indio, California (February 15, 2022) – At least one person was injured in a traffic collision on Monday evening in Indio.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at around 4:05 p.m., February 14, on Avenue 53 near Calhoun Street.
The officers who responded to the incident recovered a white Chevy SUV and a Nissan Titan at the scene of the accident. The manner in which the accident happened, however, was yet to be established.
Officials say at least one person was injured in the accident. The severity of injuries sustained by the victim was not immediately disclosed.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
