1 Injured in Highway 99 Car Accident near Applegate Road in Merced
Merced, California (January 28, 2022) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle collision that least one person injured on Friday night in Merced.
The accident was reported at around 9:50 p.m. on Highway 99 near Applegate Road, according to the CHP.
The officers who responded to the incident recovered two vehicles at the scene of the accident. The manner in which the accident happened, however, was yet to be established.
At least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
