1 Injured in 580 Freeway Car Accident near Edwards Avenue in Oakland
Oakland, California (January 12, 2022) – At least one person was injured in a traffic collision that occurred on Tuesday afternoon in Oakland.
California Highway Patrol said the collision occurred on Interstate 580 Freeway near Edwards Avenue at about 12:36 p.m., on January 11.
Two vehicles were involved in the collision. The events leading up to the collision, however, were not immediately established.
The authorities said one person was injured in the accident and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
CHP is investigating the cause of the accident.
