1 Injured in 215 Freeway Collision near Ramona Expressway in Perris
Riverside County, California (October 13, 2021) – One person sustained major injuries in a two-vehicle collision that occurred in Perris early Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened along the southbound lanes of Interstate 215 Freeway near Ramona Expressway at about 12:17 a.m.
Two cars are reported to have collided on the freeway in unclear circumstances. Two other motorists pulled over at the scene to assist the victims of the crash.
The CHP said one person was injured in the accident and was transported to Inland Valley Medical Center for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
