2 Hurt in 15 Freeway Car Crash near Joshua Street in Hesperia
Hesperia, California (October 5, 2021) – Two drivers were injured in a two-vehicle collision that occurred in Hesperia, San Bernardino, on Monday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Interstate 15 Freeway between Joshua Street and Manin Street at about 7:53 a.m. October 4.
The officers who responded to the incident located a 2019 Freightliner Cascadia and a 2020 Hino 195 box truck at the scene of the accident. The tractor-truck is reported to have collided with the disabled box truck that was stopped on the right-hand shoulder.
The impact caused the Hino truck to overturn onto its side while the semi sustained front-end damage.
Both drivers were able to exit the vehicles and were transported to an area hospital for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
