1 Hurt in San Luis Obispo Crash on Augusta Street
San Luis Obispo, California (October 23, 2021) – One person was injured when a vehicle slammed into an apartment complex in San Luis Obispo on Saturday afternoon, according to authorities.
The crash was reported at around 11:22 a.m. at 2916 Augusta Street.
A van driver was reportedly trying to reverse from her parking spot when she drove forward and crashed into the building.
The van struck and pinned one person who was exiting the building at the time.

That person was transported by San Luis Ambulance to a hospital with moderate injuries.
Six people were displaced from the building as it sustained significant damage following the incident.
Authorities said the driver of the involved van was not injured.
Alcohol and drugs were not suspected in the accident, authorities said.
The investigation is ongoing.
