37-Year-Old Man Killed in Stockton Crash at Martin Luther King Boulevard and Lincoln Street

, California (January 16, 2022) – One person was killed when a police pursuit ended in a collision at a Stockton intersection on Sunday afternoon, according to authorities.

The incident started at around 10 a.m. when County Sheriff's deputies were pursuing a driver wanted on a felony charge out of County.

A Stockton police officer also joined the chase after seeing the suspect driving erratically on Charter Way.

Soon after, the suspect collided with another vehicle at Martin Luther King Boulevard and Street.

1 Killed, 15-year-old Arrested after Stockton 2-Vehicle Crash

The driver of the second vehicle, identified as a 37-year-old man, died following the collision.

The suspect, a 15-year-old, was taken to hospital for treatment and later booked into the Juvenile Hall on charges of vehicular manslaughter.

The identities of the deceased victim and the teenage driver were not immediately released.

The incident is under investigation.
