Sun Lakes, AZ – One person was killed and another injured in a collision in Sun Lakes on Friday, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office.
The wreck took place near East J Robson Boulevard and Riggs Road.
The MCSO said a driver ran a red light at the intersection and collided with a vehicle that was making a left turn.
The driver who ran the light was killed in the accident.
The second driver was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
