North Hollywood, Calif. – At least one person was killed in a collision in North Hollywood early Saturday morning, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The accident took place on Sherman Way and Tujunga Avenue at about 1:40 a.m.
Police said a vehicle was traveling on Tujunga Avenue when it ran a red light and crashed into another vehicle that was traveling east on Sherman Way.
According to the report, a sedan and a pickup truck were involved in the crash.
One of the drivers, an adult woman, was killed in the crash.
The second driver was taken to a hospital with moderate injuries.
Police said alcohol and drugs were not suspected in the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
