Jurupa Valley Woman Dies in Riverside Crash on Buena Vista Avenue near Indian Hill Road
Riverside, California (April 2, 2022) – A 58-year-old woman from Jurupa Valley was killed and a young man was injured in a head-on collision that occurred in Riverside on Friday afternoon.
The deadly collision occurred at around 3:11 p.m. on Buena Vista Avenue near Indian Hill Road, according to the authorities.
A black 2018 Audi sedan was traveling westbound on Buena Vista Avenue when it drifted to the opposite side and collided head-on with a red 2003 Chevy Trailblazer.
The Jurupa Valley woman driving the Chevy was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries. Sadly, she succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment.
The Audi driver, identified only as an 18-year-old Jurupa Valley man, sustained moderate injuries and was taken to the hospital.
At this time, it's unclear whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash.
