1 Killed and 1 Injured in Car Accident at Arrow Highway and Gayhurst Avenue in Irwindale
Irwindale, California (February 22, 2022) – One person was killed in a Monday evening car crash in Irwindale.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened in the area of Arrow Highway and Gayhurst Avenue at around 4:30 p.m.
A car is reported to have collided with another vehicle at the intersection in unclear circumstances.
The collision caused one of the cars to crash into a Southern California Edison pole, causing a power outage.

The driver of the car that crashed into the pole was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the same car was taken to a nearby trauma center for treatment.
