One Dies in Kings County Accident on 12 Avenue and Excelsior Avenue
Kings County, California (August 26, 2021) – One person died following a traffic collision in Kings County on Wednesday afternoon, according to California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place on 12 Avenue and Excelsior Avenue at about 3:55 p.m. August 26.
CHP said a 21-year-old woman was pulling out of a private driveway near 12 Avenue onto Excelsior Avenue when she entered the path of a white Ford F-250 pickup truck and was struck on the driver's side.

The man driving the Jeep was taken to Adventist Health in Hanford, where he was later pronounced dead.
A passenger in the Jeep was flown to Community Regional Medical Center in Downtown Fresno with major injuries.
The operator of the Ford was reportedly treated at the scene.
