A preliminary investigation indicated that two vehicles collided head-on after one of the cars travelled wrong-way
Murrieta, Calif. – A woman was killed and two others hospitalized after a head-on collision on Whitewood Road in Murrieta Sunday morning.
According to the Murrieta Police Department, the collision happened at around 6:45 a.m. on Whitewood Road south of Clinton Keith Road.
A preliminary investigation indicated that two vehicles collided head-on after one of the cars travelled wrong-way.
A female passenger in one of the vehicles was transported to the hospital, where she later died.
Both drivers were also hospitalized and is said to be in stable condition.
Neither speed nor impairment played a role in the wreck.
No additional information about the collision was available.
An investigation is ongoing.
