, California (October 3, 2021) – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision in Fresno early Sunday morning, according to authorities.

The incident happened on at Herndon Avenue.

According to the report, several vehicles collided in the northbound lanes of Highway 99 just before 2:30 a.m. and some of the cars became disabled on the roadway.

Shortly after, a approaching the scene attempted to swerve to avoid the wreckage but slammed into a car parked along the side of the highway.
