Acton, CA – One person is dead and two others are injured following a rollover traffic collision at an intersection in Acton Wednesday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly collision happened at about 4:58 p.m. at the intersection of Crown Valley Road and Country Way.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP) Antelope Valley Office, officers responded to the scene and located two pickup trucks involved in the collision. One of the vehicles had rolled over after the collision.
The driver and the passenger of the overturned pickup were ejected and one of them died at the scene. The name of the deceased party has not been released.
The other ejected person and the driver of the second pickup truck were transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
No additional information is available at this time.
The crash is under investigation.
