Los Angeles, CA.- A civilian was killed in a crash that left two police officers hurt in the Sun Valley neighborhood of Los Angeles on Monday afternoon, according to the authorities.
The incident took place in the 10900 block of West Saticoy Street just before 2 p.m. May 26.
According to the report, a Los Angeles Police Department cruiser responding to a call was traveling on Saticoy Street when it collided with a vehicle that was making a left turn onto Cleon Avenue from Saticoy Street.
The driver of the civilian vehicle was pulled out of the wreckage by firefighters.
The driver, a man aged between 60 and 70, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The two officers complained of pain and were both taken to the hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
