Auburn, California (February 5, 2022) – At least one person was killed in a car crash early Saturday morning in Auburn.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident on 80 Freeway near Highway 65 at about 12:24 a.m.
The officer who responded to the incident recovered two vehicles at the scene of the accident. The manner in which the accident happened, however, was not immediately established.
Officials say one person was killed in the accident. The name of the deceased was withheld.
