One Dies in Moreno Valley Crash on Indian Street and Delphinium Avenue
Moreno Valley, California (February 28, 2022) – One person was killed in a broad-side collision at an intersection in Moreno Valley on Sunday afternoon, according to a report by the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
The incident took place on Indian Street and Delphinium Avenue just before 4:50 p.m. February 28.
According to the report, a black Dodge Ram truck was heading north on Indian Street when it broad-sided a gold Toyota Solana traveling westbound on Delphinium Avenue.

After the collision, the Toyota careened across the road and came to a rest on the north side of the intersection.
The Riverside County firefighters responded to the scene and extricated the driver of the Toyota, who was trapped in the vehicle.
The driver was then rushed to a hospital, where they were pronounced deceased.
The other motorist reportedly stayed at the scene after the accident.
Authorities believe alcohol may have been a factor in the collision. The investigation is ongoing.
