One Dies in Visalia Crash on Highway 198 at 2nd Avenue
Visalia, California (February 22, 2022) – At least one person was killed in a collision that happened on Highway 198 at 2nd Avenue in Visalia Monday evening, according to the authorities.
The incident took place at around 6:45 p.m. February 21, on Highway 198 at 2nd Avenue.
Authorities said a Honda traveling south on 2nd Avenue made a turn in front of a Mercedes heading east on Highway 198.
A passenger in the Honda died at the scene of the collision.

Two other people in the Honda were transported to Kaweah Medical Center for treatment of their injuries.
The woman driving the Mercedes was treated for minor injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
