1 Killed in Interstate 880 Freeway Car Accident near Stevenson Boulevard in Hayward
Hayward, California (December 22, 2021) – At least one person was killed and four others were injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Wednesday morning in Hayward.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at about 11:10 a.m. on Interstate 880 Freeway near Stevenson Boulevard.
The officers who responded to the incident recovered at least four vehicles at the scene of the accident. The manner in which the accident happened, however, was yet to be established.
CHP said at least one person was killed in the accident.
The identity of the victim was not immediately disclosed.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
