One Dies in Kelseyville Accident on Highway 29 near Argonaut Road
Kelseyville, California (August 26, 2021) – One person died following a head-on crash on Thursday morning near Kelseyville, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened on Highway 29 north of Argonaut Road shortly after 10 a.m.
CHP said a 1998 Mazda Protege was traveling southbound on Highway 29 when it drifted into the path of oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a northbound 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
The woman driving the Mazda died at the scene.

The other driver, a 66-year-old Kelseyville woman, was taken to Sutter Lakeside Hospital in Lakeport with possible broken ribs and a broken foot.
The crash caused a closure of the highway for nearly one hour.
