1 Killed in Highway 79 Car Accident near Highway 74 in Hemet
Riverside County, California (February 11, 2022) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Thursday night in Hemet, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal accident was reported at around 10:43 p.m. on Highway 79 near Highway 74.
The authorities who responded to the incident recovered two vehicles at the scene of the accident. The manner in which the accident happened, however, was yet to be established.
CHP said one person died in the crash.
The identity of the deceased, however, was not immediately disclosed.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
