Indio, CA – One person was killed in a collision on a freeway in Indio early Sunday morning, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The incident took place on the Sonny Bono Memorial (10) Freeway and Monroe Street At about 2:40 a.m.

One person was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Two other parties were transported to a hospital with moderate injuries.
