San Diego, CA – One person is dead following a multi-vehicle traffic collision at an intersection Dulzura Junction Sunday morning, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The accident happened at about 11:17 a.m. in the area of State Route 94 and Barrett Smith Road at the Barrett Junction.
Responding crews located a dark colored motorcycle, a white sedan, a black SUV and a fourth undescribed vehicle.
According to the California Highway Patrol, one person was killed in the accident. It wasn't clear if the victim died at the scene or at a hospital, but the authorities reported that the victim was declared dead at about 11:40 a.m.
The authorities did not say if anyone else was injured in the collision.
The intersection was closed and all traffic was diverted onto Barrett Smith Road.
No additional information is available at this time.
The accident remains under investigation.
