Newhall, CA.– One person was killed in a car accident in Newhall on Saturday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred on The Old Road near Weldon Canyon Road at about 12:15 p.m. August 2.
According to the CHP, a Pontiac Grand am and a Toyota Rav4 were involved in the collision, whose cause was not immediately established.
The driver of the Pontiac was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The other motorist was taken to Henry Mayo Hospital with unspecified injuries.
The incident is under investigation.
